Join us on a paper scavenger hunt through the stacks in honor of the Bertrand Library’s 75th anniversary! Grab your thinking caps and uncover hidden secrets, historical artifacts, and quirky corners of the university’s hottest spot to study, meet up with friends, or grab a coffee.
How to Play:
- Get your self-guided scavenger hunt. Pick up a clipboard with a copy at the Circulation Desk or print your own: Print Your Own Scavenger Hunt
- Follow the clues. Wander through the library and uncover 75 years of history along the way.
- Complete the hunt. Once you’ve found everything, return to the Circulation Desk.
- Claim your prize! Collect a commemorative Bertrand75 sticker to celebrate.

Search through the library, follow the clues, and solve puzzles to complete the Puzzling Library Quest! Answer a question at each stop on the quest to find the next location and learn more about Bertrand Library.
This activity requires a digital device – use a smartphone or check out a tablet from the Equipment Desk in the library.

Love Letters to the Library
Stop by and write a love letter to the library! Fill out a short description of what you love about Bertrand Library and file it in the card catalog displayed on the main floor by the central staircase.
Use a key word at the top and file your card alphabetically. Some examples of keywords might be:
